General:

Your submissions can deal with any subject matter, though any blatent, unartistic and offensive material will be immediately discarded and we will consider no further submissions from the contributor.

As with all sites of this nature, we recommend you read a good sample of the material already posted to ascertain whether your own material will be right for Write Off.

Regrettably, at present, the only payment we are able to offer is by way of exposure. All accepted work remains the property of the author, and will be displayed on Write Off until such a time as the author requests it removal.

Poetry:

In general, poems can be of any length but preferably no epics. Please send no more than five poems in any one submission. If you would like the poem formatted in a certain way, please include details in the submission.

Fiction/Non-Fiction/Prose Poetry:

We would like you to keep your Fiction/Non-Fiction/Prose Poetry to a maximum of 6000 words, and limit yourself to one piece per submission. As with poetry, if you are unable to format the story as you would like it displayed, please give direction.

Artwork:

We will accept up to 2 pieces of artwork per submission. Please make sure they are formatted as one of the follow: jpeg, jpg, jpe or jpa.

Articles/Reviews:

We will accept articles/reviews up to 2000 words, please limit yourself to three articles/reviews per submission.

Our promise to you:

We promise to read all the submissions we receive and get back to you with an answer within six weeks of receiving them.
