MA:Zine: edited by Kelly Hallam. MA:Zine accepts submissions in most genres. The only strict rule is that the writing has to be good and interesting. Kelly is a friend from University and a bloody good writer, but don't take my word for it check out her stuff in her White Space, you won't regret it.

The Unholy Biscuit: edited by Zeke Iddon. Again, this webzine accepts work in most genres. Zeke is another friend from University (anyone noticing a pattern yet) and a brilliant writer of fiction. He likes to push the boundaries of writing and a visit to his site is always interesting.

Mark Billingham: My favourite Crime/Thriller writer, who also happens to be a very good stand up comic. Find out more about him on his website.

Jack Gibson: Jack is another friend from University, and a very good script writer. Find out all about him on his website.

Ttriptych Haiku: edited by Kevin Doran. Kevin is currently in his second year of a BA Creative Writing Degree. He mainly writes poetry in both traditional and more innovative forms.

Great Works: edited by Peter Philpott. This website is one of the few that accept innovative writing. It is where my first piece of prose poetry was accepted and for that I will always be grateful.

The WriteGallery: accepts a range of genres including poetry, fiction and personal essays.

Ralan's Webstravaganza: run by Ralan Conley. This website gives a comprehensive list of market places that are incredibly useful for all writers and artists. Regularly updated and easy to use, Ralan's List covers the smallest of publishers right up to the biggest professionals. Whether you're just starting out, or already established, this website has something for everyone, and no one can afford to be without it.

Ed Cox: Ed is a friend I met at University. His writing is excellent and his site is always worth a visit.

Sam's Dot Publishing: A small press house. Overseen by managing editor, Tyree Campbell, Sam's Dot has a host of quality literature to buy, including novels, magazines, chapbooks, anthologies, and illustrated stories. There are also some great free webzines, which maintain the high quality of their print cousins. Sam's Dot is always on the lookout for submissions from new writers and artists, too. Again, this is a great place for everyone.

CIVILIAN: nothing to do with writing, but a great up and coming Irish band. Go have a listen on their media section.
